70% of the country's population of one million people live on traditional homesteads spread throughout rural communities.

The devastation of AIDS is creating a generation of orphans in Swaziland.

42% of adults have HIV (2008 sentinel survey).

Swaziland has 70,000 orphans. Already 15.000 households in the country are headed by children trying to raise brothers and sisters by themselves.
